If you’re thinking about closing your account or canceling service, please review the options below first. Many customers find that fixing or changing something on their account is a better option than canceling their service.
Are you here because your service has been disconnected? Learn how to get your service turned back on.
If you want to cancel your service because your bill is too high, we may be able to help. We offer bundled discounts and long-term pricing, so you don't have to worry about rate increases. If you've been a customer for some time, we may be able to find a better promotion or rate for your services. Just contact us and we will go over your options.
Instead of canceling your service and setting up a new account, transfer your existing service to your new home. It's a lot easier and quicker than setting up everything from scratch.
You don't have to put down a new deposit, set up another My CenturyLink profile, or re-enroll in AutoPay. Plus, it's a great time to ask what new specials, promotions, and discounts are available.
If you're going to be away for an extended period of time, you can temporarily suspend your account rather than completely canceling your service. This puts your phone, internet and/or television service on hold until you're ready to use them again, which is a lot easier than canceling and re-installing. You also typically pay a reduced rate for services that are on hold, and in most cases, you won't pay to turn them back on.
